Gasper Mir III, Chief Operating Officer, is primarily responsible for strategic planning, human resources and client relations. With more than 35 years of public accounting and executive leadership experience, he provides results-oriented advice to his clients regarding business development and change management. Mr. Mir began his public accounting career with KPMG Peat Marwick, where he worked for 18 years, including 10 years as an audit partner in Houston and three years in KPMG’s Madrid, Spain, office. Throughout his public accounting experience, he has served clients in a variety of industries as a trusted business and assurance advisor.

Currently, Mr. Mir serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Luby’s, Inc., a publicly traded corporation based in Houston, Texas. In addition, he provides his business and community leadership experience to the boards of the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, the Houston A+ Challenge and the Greater Houston Community Foundation.

For his outstanding leadership in the Houston community, Mr. Mir has received the Joe Jaworski Exemplary Leadership Award from the Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Leadership Foundation, the Humanitarian Award from the National Council for Community and Justice and the Silver Beaver Award from the Sam Houston Area Boy Scouts Council.

Mr. Mir holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
