Rudy Martinez has more than 27 years of accounting, business consulting and tax experience, including 22 years in public accounting and five years as a controller for the non-profit and legal sectors. Mr. Martinez has served a wide range of industries, including legal and healthcare professional services, real-estate development and management, manufacturing, non-profit organizations, retail, agri-business, oil and gas producers, oilfield services, high-wealth individuals, construction, estates and trusts. The size of businesses he has served ranges from one-person professional services firms to multi-national SEC companies. His tax experience includes all levels of compliance, planning and consulting services. Mr. Martinez’s accounting and consulting experience has leveraged his controller skills to assist clients with internal controls, process analysis, fraud detection, litigation support and human resource management.

Mr. Martinez is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in organizational management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting. He has served as a board member on a number of civic and community-based organizations over the years. Mr. Martinez is at present serving on the boards for Dance Houston and AVANCE, Inc.’s Houston chapter, as well as the Human Resource Committee for the San Jacinto Girl Scouts.
