Jacob M. Leon combines business and investment advice with tax planning to offer clients special insight in finding the right solutions. He assists clients in all areas of business consulting and financial planning, including wealth accumulation, retirement, risk planning and estate planning. He also provides comprehensive accounting and tax services to clients in a number of industries, including not-for-profit entities.

Mr. Leon is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and is a member of and has served on the boards of the Texas Society of CPAs, as well as the Houston Chapter of that Society. Highly involved in JHI, an international association of accounting (and related services) firms, he has served as the Chairman of the Region of the Americas, which serves North, Central and South America. He also served as an at-large member of the International Executive Committee for the association. He has been instrumental in the recruitment of firms in Guayaquil, Ecuador; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Mr. Leon is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He is an AICPA-accredited personal financial specialist and also earned a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Financial Planning from the AICPA. Mr. Leon was born in the Guanabacoa area of Havana, Cuba, and is fluent in Spanish. His community involvement includes membership in various not-for-profit, religious, civic and professional organizations, where he has served as officer, trustee or board member.
