With more than 16 years’ experience in public accounting, Juan Padilla has provided assurance services to both public and privately held businesses. Mr. Padilla’s industry experience spans a variety of industries including oilfield services, automobile dealerships, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, real-estate development, trading activities (petrochemical, industrial chemical and motor gasoline components), construction, railroad and bulk-material logistical services, and transient contract fuel and flight support services for operators of turbine-powered aircrafts. As a result, he offers a broad perspective as a business advisor and a highly qualified financial auditor and accountant.

Mr. Padilla holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Texas, Pan America. He has provided technical training to staff on new accounting pronouncements and auditing standards. He is active in both professional and civic organizations. Mr. Padilla believes in encouraging young people to pursue accounting as a profession and is a frequent presenter to college and high school students on the subject. He has been active in the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, Junior Achievement, Leadership 2000, YMCA Camping Unit and the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast. Additionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Greater Houston Partnership. Mr. Padilla has served on several non-profit boards both as a member and officer. In addition, he is a member and 2006 graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future, and a member and graduate of the 2007 class of the American Leadership Forum.

Mr. Padilla’s definition of success is to not only meet, but to exceed all client expectations and deadlines. His philosophy is that it is not just about doing the work; it is about working with the client to get the job done right.
