A member of the MFR team since 2008, Charles Dixon has more than 10 years of audit experience. Before joining MFR, he was employed as a director in a national accounting resource firm for nearly three years. Responsibilities included accounting assistance, external and internal audits, as well as special projects for various industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing and government. Mr. Dixon has consulting and internal and external audit experience at the managerial level with two of the Big Four accounting firms, where his primary focus was Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to working in public accounting, Mr. Dixon gained internal audit and business experience in manufacturing, government and the utility industries. His government experience includes his work as an internal auditor for the City of Las Vegas, where he conducted audits for Public Works, the Department of Corrections and the Fire Department, among others.

Mr. Dixon earned a Bachelor of Arts in government with a minor in economics from The University of Texas at Austin. He earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in internal audit from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is a Certified Internal Auditor. Mr. Dixon has been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors for over 15 years and served in several positions while with the Las Vegas chapter.
