Francisco V. Diaz, CPA, has more than 30 years of business, financial, accounting, audit and engineering experience in public accounting and private industry. His public accounting experience includes over seven years with Big Four accounting firms and more than 20 years heading his own public accounting practice. 



His private-industry experience includes CFO and controller positions for companies in a variety of industries in the United States and South America. Mr. Diaz has also served as controller for a publicly traded, multinational U.S. company in Quito, Ecuador, that boasts subsidiaries in various countries. In public practice, he has served U.S. subsidiaries of foreign companies with headquarters in the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Spain, Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico. 



Using his broad international business experience in financial executive, consultant and auditor roles, Mr. Diaz has been invaluable to international clients. He provides financial and tax information in a timely and accurate manner, particularly in assistance with compliance with United States tax and financial rules and regulations. With his client base, he has frequently assisted with international taxation issues, such as transfer pricing, tax treaties and U.S. taxation of foreign nationals – both corporations and individuals. 



Mr. Diaz has experience advising closely held companies with operations in diverse fields such as distribution, manufacturing, engineering, retail and service industries. His audit practice also specialized in the audits of large and small employee benefit plans. 



Mr. Diaz earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1973. He has been involved in several professional organizations as a member of the advisory board and as an officer, both at the local and national levels.
