Barbara Ashorn has more than nine years of experience in public accounting. She provides the preparation and review phases for various corporate, partnerships, non-profit, fiduciary and individual tax returns. Her extensive knowledge in the area of information technology enables her to assist clients with both accounting and technology-related issues. Previously, Ms. Ashorn spent seven years with a broadcasting company, applying her IT expertise.

Ms. Ashorn graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Master of Science in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in August 2006. She previously graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and a minor in computer science. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Woman's Society of CPAs and the JHI IT Group.
